La Maison Eveil
L’Association pour une Education Adaptée (A.E.A)
La Maison Eveil is the first establishment of the Association for Adapted Education (AEA). The Association was created in September 2000, under the impetus of parents of a child with a mental disability and could not incorporate a traditional school structure.
Sharing experiences and help to families in the same situation has prompted the creation of the association. The AEA is an association with social and humanitarian objectives. Its headquarters are in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
La Maison Eveil is an Institute for the caring of children, adolescents and young adults with psychical or mental disabilities. In most cases, there is no curative therapy in mental handicap. Difficulties must be compensated by a permanent human support and scalable, suited to the condition and situation of the person. AEA registered La Maison Eveil in this psycho educational direction.
La Maison Eveil supports children from Monday to Friday, from 7H30 to 17H30 with a canteen at noon (except Wednesday: from 7H30 to 12H)
