Our Activities

Activities take place from Monday to Friday from 7H30 to 17H30 (except Wednesday until 12H).

A schedule is in place for each youth in terms of his/her educational project. It is subject to change according to the evolution of the youth.

The various activities are:

• Welcome
• Preschool and school activities (design, writing, lectures, math …)
• Activities of daily life (food, hygiene, clothing …)
• Creative expression activities or manual work (painting, drawing, threading beads, crafts)
• Psychological and psycho-pedagogical
• Physical education
• Music
• Drumming
• Hairdressing

 

Outdoor activities are:

• Riding
• Hairdressing

 

1. Welcome

The welcome is a form of “start-up”. Students and instructors are sitting in forming a circle. Students individually greet peers and supervisors in turn. It is an activity of socialization.

2. The psychological and psycho-pedagogical

Psychologists of La Maison Eveil provide a framework for students to listen to reassure them and relieve them from their distress (as well as parents).

3. Preschool and school activities

Depending on the age and especially individual capacity, the work focuses either:

• on basic learning: awakening to the recognition of shapes, colors, numbers and letters;
• or on the maintenance and further acquiring of basic academics: conferences, writing and arithmetic.
• Utilized supporting teaching tools may be pedagogical files, various documents or the computer.

 

4. Rehabilitations

• Physical education

It allows to correct the bad attitudes of children, develop muscle coordination, precision and adaptation of gestures. It therefore promotes harmonious physical development.

Physical education also contributes to the intellectual development of children.

Hours of snack, meals, change of clothes are suitable to educators to work on autonomy in acts of daily life.
