Immediate Needs for La Maison Eveil

1. Needs in training

In Burkina Faso, there is no specific training in care of the mentally handicapped. La Maison Eveil needs consistent training for its staff.

We are looking for:

A Specialist in Applied Behavior Analysis: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Identification and invitation to Ouagadougou, to training for short periods. We want an expert from North America, Scandinavia or Belgium.

A Specialist in psycho educational support of mental retardation, which may be originated from the environment or genetic. Identification and invitation to Ouagadougou.

Funding for a specialization of a Burkinabe in mental disability care. Investing in the training of a national of Burkina Faso will benefit not only La Maison Eveil but also Burkina Faso as a whole. His/her presence will avoid great expenses to seek expatriates who will be on site for only a period of time.
